Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters.     Compensation

    $10-12 Hourly

    Project BEE is currently hiring for a Part Time Weekend Day Shelter Support Specialist to assist with overnight shelter operations.

    This is a great job for someone with experience as a CNA, caregiver, childcare, youth worker, or similar looking for a slight change.

    The hours of this position will fall between 8 am and 7 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

    Job Duties :

    • Admit clients to the Shelter, connect client with case manager to complete intake paperwork, and orient individuals to the Emergency Warming Shelter and its policies.
    • Ensure clients are complying with program guidelines and procedures.
    • Ensure residents are supplied with necessary items (food, clothing, etc.)
    • Maintain staff and participant records including admittance, daily journal, resident's log, shelter duty checklist, child protection, and other reports as assigned.
    • Ensure security of the shelter : locks, security systems, fire alarm systems, and security checklist. Respond appropriately to alarms and emergency situations, including the use of First Aid and CPR.
    • Performs general administrative functions such as documentation within the communication log, answering the phone and responding to in-person inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
    • Provides appropriate information and referrals for those who need other resources.
    • Provide an immediate and professional response to any emergency or disturbance within the Warming Center
    • Provides consistent coverage for assigned shifts, working within the team and independently to complete all shift tasks.
    • Attend scheduled Shelter meetings.
    • Provide off-site clients with food and supplies as applicable.
    • Prepare sleeping rooms by cleaning and stocking.
    • Sorting and organizing donations.
    • Maintain cleanliness of shelter and general organization of shelter.
    • Delivers services with safety, respect, and effectiveness.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications :

    • High school graduate. 2 years of college in related human service field or equivalent education / experience is helpful
    • Training or experience in working in crisis intervention
    • Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills
    • Knowledge of domestic violence, homelessness, mental illness, chemical dependency and / or child development issues is essential.
    • Prompt and reliable attendance is required
    • Meet all background check requirements
    • An understanding of, appreciation for, and support of the mission of Project BEE

    Salary : $10-12 / hour
