    About Decision Point

We are an evangelical non-profit that exists to proclaim the gospel to the next generation. We focus on equipping, sending and reaching students on their school campus and online. Browse through our website at DecisionPoint.org to learn more about what we do.

The Call from Decision Point on Vimeo.

Expanding the Mission and Advancing the Gospel

Decision Point is currently active in 17 areas and partnering with churches and mobilizing students for campus outreach. We desire to see this number grow to 25 areas by 2027, and through our online coaching program, we hope to coach students far beyond that. We have seen that coaching a few schools in a local area today can lead to long-term ministry being established for years to come. We have recently launched our new four-year campaign, I Have Decided.

In the next four years we are praying we will see:

    • 10,000 students say, “I have decided to witness for Christ!”
    • 1,000 churches say, “I have decided to mobilize our students to witness for Christ!”
    • 10,000 people to say, “I have decided to pray for and financially support this ministry.”

We believe that by God’s grace this will result in:

    • 25 strategic cities served by Decision Point campus ministry in their communities
    • 1,000 campuses impacted by the Student Leaders deployed by Decision Point
    • 2.5 million students given the gospel on campus or online
Check out this video to see our mission in action.

We pray that the Lord will continue expanding the mission - coast-to-coast, border to border and beyond - till every student has heard.

About Our Next Dallas Campus Ministry Staff:

We are calling the next generation of believers to heed Christ’s call to be courageous witnesses for Him - to be champions for Christ and His kingdom. God has called us to strengthen a remnant of young leaders who are ready to stand for Christ, live for Christ, witness for Christ, and endure hardship for His name because He is worth it.

We are driven by the reality that students without Jesus are lost, and far too many of the 34 million students in middle and high schools today have never had the chance to hear about the hope and new life He offers. We focus on equipping, sending, and reaching students on their school campuses and online.

Campus Ministry Staff are the core of the ministry. You will coach students on a regular basis who are eager to reach their peers for Christ and establish and maintain relationships with youth pastors and leaders in the local churches and community.

Dallas Campus Ministry Staff are in the field most of the week. During the ministry year (September – May) staff will be in the field 50-75% of the time, either at a chapter site or visiting schools to coach students or connecting with pastors and other community leaders.

You’re a great candidate for this role if most of these describe you:

    • You love the lost. People who don’t know Christ, who are hurting and broken without the peace of God…you care about them! You have a burden and a vision for reaching the youth in your area.
    • You believe in the power of the gospel to change lives and truly heal broken communities by restoring relationship with God.
    • You're entrepreneurial and a go-getter. Driven and goal-oriented, you’re eager to grow the impact of your team to spread the gospel
    • You know the value of serving a movement bigger than yourself and your leadership. Campus Ministry Staff work in partnership with pastors, teachers, parents, and the general Christian community. And if those partnerships don’t exist yet, Campus Staff build them.
    • You want to be part of a far-reaching and effective ministry. With millions of students around the nation who need to know Christ, you’re not content to reach just one campus.
    • You are a superior verbal communicator, winsome in personal conversation and in public speaking.
    • You have experience leading others and know that leading others is service to them. Leading is one of the most effective ways you deploy the talents and the godly passions that God has given you.
    • You’re a visionary – you see a different future than the current reality, and you can tell people about it in ways that motivate them to help you make that change.
    • You’re a proven coach and enjoy helping others you lead to reach their full potential and serve Christ for years to come.
    • You’re detailed and organized when it comes to planning the future and managing your team.
    • You’re ready for a full-time job, 45 hours/week, and are ready to commit to something you can really sink your teeth into for several years.

Hours: Full-time (45 hours per week)

    Key Relationships:

Dallas Campus Ministry Staff report to the Texas Directors, Jonathan and Katie Medina, and collaborate with other area ministry teams.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Experience: Ministry experience in church or para-church setting preferred.
    • Travel: This role will include consistent travel in the Dallas area and some travel around the nation.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

    Attitudes and Aptitudes:

    • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Are a quick and eager learner in all areas.
    • Impressively organized with great attention to detail.
    • Possess high moral integrity, emotional health, social awareness and spiritual maturity.
    • Known as a team player who is excited to serve with an incredible team and contribute their best.
    • An evangelical Jesus-follower who loves the gospel and evangelism.
    • A wise and mature believer who knows the Word of God and seeks to follow it.

    Fundraising and Salary:

Annual salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 based on experience and qualifications.

As a distinctive part of this role, Decision Point is a non-profit ministry where every member of our staff is involved in fundraising for both financial and prayer support. And we think that’s a really good thing!

Just like missionaries about to be sent across the world, your first assignment on Decision Point staff will be to personally contact churches, friends and family and gather a team of partners to monthly invest in the ministry that God is leading you into. We’ll give you tons of training, encouragement and ongoing coaching. If you like everything else and feel like this could be a good fit for you, do not let fundraising stop you; let’s talk first.

Will you come help save the next generation?

You may still have a lot of questions. You may still be praying about whether God is calling you to this mission. That’s ok! Let’s talk. Just fill out the short form and we’ll be in touch to get the conversation started!
