Decision Support Manager manages a team of decision support staff to deliver high-quality solutions. Updates the upper management on decision support findings on regular basis. Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Two (2) years RN experience
- Must meet or exceed customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect
- Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services
- Must possess the following personal qualities: Self-directed; Flexible and Committed to the Team Concept; Demonstrate Teamwork; Initiative, and Willingness to Learn; Be Open to New Learning Experiences, Accepts and Respects Diversity without Judgment; Demonstrates Customer Service Values
LICENSURES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current RN License in the State of Michigan
- BCLS/ACLS per Unit Standard
- Certifications appropriate for Specific Unit
