Dean of Undergraduate Programs manages administrative functions of the undergraduate program. Responsibilities
The Coordinator of University Advancement Communications provides general support to the Senior Director of Communications.
Additionally, the Coordinator of University Advancement Communications develops targeted communication materials that support University Advancement goals and objectives.
Writing and Editing
Write and edit donor stories, solicitations and other materials for various internal and external publications in accordance with accepted stylistic standards.
Assist Senior Director of Communications and other University Advancement staff with writing, editing and proofreading letters, programs, gift proposals, talking points, press releases, invitations and advertisements.
Maintain current information and update content as necessary on websites and other electronic platforms.
Communication Development
Identify and manage communication projects on behalf of the University Advancement, including organizing any research, obtaining necessary approvals and measuring results.
Communicate directly with UA Communications and departmental staff on project status, needs and expected deadlines. Identify story ideas, conduct interviews and research, and write stories for various websites and publications.
Work with development officers on developing communication tools to assist in fundraising for their college / unit, including gift proposals and other collateral.
