Dean of Undergraduate Programs manages administrative functions of the undergraduate program. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Focusing on the recruitment and admission efforts of prospective students and ultimately contributing to enrollment by operating as the lead administrator for the University’s CRM application, this position serves the Office of Undergraduate Admission, reporting to the dean. The Associate Dean will serve a direct supervisory role to several staff members and serve a larger role of overall staff management in the dean’s stead.
Bachelor’s Degree required and five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in admission, higher education, or school-based college counseling, working with admission processes, and recruitment of students, or counseling students through the college search and selection process on the high school side. Experience with a higher education CRM required (TargetX or Slate). Must have strong customer service ethic and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and familiarity with working individually as well as in a team setting.
TargetX or Slate, Microsoft Office Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. PeopleSoft experience a plus.
Possession of current and valid U.S. driver’s license appropriate to the type of university vehicle and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) as stipulated in the Vehicle Guidelines and Procedures Manual administered through the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Annual clearance of MVR check through the Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Master’s degree a plus.
