Job Summary
Jackson State Community College is seeking an experienced academic administrative leader for the Division of Nursing and Health Sciences. This twelve-month position serves as the senior academic officer for the division and is responsible for overall management and leadership of the division. This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree required. Minimum of five years of experience in higher education. Minimum of three years experience in nursing and/or health sciences higher education programs. Minimum of two years in a higher education leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree preferred. Program director and/or program chair experience in nursing or health sciences field. Program accreditation and assessment experience. Experience with health care industry partnerships.

Ability and commitment to working collaboratively within the TBR community college system.
Ability and commitment to working collaboratively with faculty, health care affiliate partners, and college administration.
Ability to manage the division workload including the use of adjunct faculty.

Ability to supervise and evaluate faculty and staff
Pay Rate: $80,408 - $100,510 Annual salary depending on eligible experience which is defined by the current compensation plan.
