Reporting to the Director of Graduate Recruitment and Strategic Partnerships, the Graduate Student Recruiter will assist in the development and implementation of student recruitment and outreach through programmatic and individual recruitment activities designed to meet enrollment goals in specific student populations and targeted geographic areas. Functioning as part of the larger Enrollment Management Team, this position serves as a liaison and resource for numerous Anderson University departments, working collaboratively to strengthen and increase the university’s presence at recruitment events, providing detailed information about Anderson University’s admission requirements, program offerings, basic financial aid requirements and regulations, and scholarship opportunities to prospective students. The Graduate Recruiter will promptly assess and respond to inquiries from prospective students throughout the application process, track completed applications, record recruitment efforts through the university’s enrollment management system (Slate), and will offer additional admission support, as requested.
A bachelor’s degree and two years of recruitment or student service experience are required. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills required. Effective time management skills, and a keen attention to detail are also needed. Good MS Office skills required; familiarity with Slate CRM is preferred. Strong commitment to the academic and Christ-focused mission of Anderson University is essential.
