Job Description
We are looking for an organized, productive, detail-oriented individual to join the Communication and Fine Arts team! As the Division Secretary, you will assist the Dean of Communication and Fine Arts with key division tasks in a caring, positive, and respectful environment as well as support full-time faculty and adjunct instructors with basic office tasks on a daily basis. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining files and supportive data in an organized system for the division
- Inputting scheduling data
- Producing and posting classroom schedules
- Coordinating the hiring process and orientation of new faculty
- Monitoring budget expenses and tracking invoices
- Performing additional routine office activities with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentially.
- Planning events for academic programs.

Physical Demands
Ability to occasionally lift 10 pounds, ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving, organizational skills with the teaching and learning process, and high level of interpersonal skills is preferred.Frequent contact with internal and external customers is required.
