Dean of Communications manages administrative functions of the college of communications. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Communications leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Communications requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Communications manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Communications typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We are looking for an experienced and visionary individual to lead our LPN School Program establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the program's appproval with the state of MA, curriculum development, faculty management, student affairs, and program accreditation compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Guide the program through the state approval process, including preparation of necessary documentation and coordination with state nursing boards.
    • Lead and oversee the development and implementation of the LPN program curriculum.
    • Ensure the program's compliance with state and national accreditation standards.
    • Hire, train, and evaluate faculty and administrative staff.
    • Manage student admissions, progress, and program completion.
    • Develop and administer the program's budget.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities for clinical placements and partnerships.
    • Represent the program in professional circles and maintain relationships with nursing education leaders.
    • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of education and the student experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors /Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or related field; Doctorate preferred.
    • Extensive experience in nursing education and program administration, including experience with state approval processes for nursing programs.
    • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Expertise in curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation.
    • Knowledge of current nursing practices and trends.
