Additionally, Dean of Business requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Business manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Assistant Dean, Business Studies is responsible for assisting and supporting the Dean in the administration of the academic programs for all campus locations. The essential functions of this position will include: program accreditation, curriculum development, program and course assessment, and collaboration across campuses for various student initiatives, e.g., retention and experiential learning opportunities.
