Dealer Relationship Manager establishes and maintains relationships with automobile dealerships with the goal of promoting indirect loans. Provides guidance, training, and support to dealers on the organization's loan products, and tracks dealer metrics and performance. Being a Dealer Relationship Manager maintains working knowledge of products and programs, and ensures that dealer organizations comply with organizational policies and standards. Continually surveys competitive market loan rates and prepares reports for management. Additionally, Dealer Relationship Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Dealer Relationship Manager gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. As a Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM) your responsibilities will include motivating auto retailers, extensive travel, regular meetings, training, maintaining relationships, and managing expenses. This is a work from home role, however, you will travel extensively (80%) within the assigned territory (Northern Ohio in addition to 1 retailer in Southwestern NY and 3 in Western PA). Travel to include periodic joint visits with Credit, Chase Auto and Commercial services colleagues as well as Subaru Motor Finance (SMF) and Subaru of American management. You will motivate new and existing auto retailers to use Subaru Motor Finance. You will be expected to meet with Owners and GMs on 80% of visits per month and 100% on a quarterly basis. Outside of retailer network, DRMs are expected to have regular contact with key members of the Subaru of America zone offices whether through joint visits at retailers and/or through meetings with Zone office to discuss current initiatives.
