Dealer Relationship Manager establishes and maintains relationships with automobile dealerships with the goal of promoting indirect loans. Provides guidance, training, and support to dealers on the organization's loan products, and tracks dealer metrics and performance. Being a Dealer Relationship Manager maintains working knowledge of products and programs, and ensures that dealer organizations comply with organizational policies and standards. Continually surveys competitive market loan rates and prepares reports for management. Additionally, Dealer Relationship Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Dealer Relationship Manager gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     The primary purpose of the Dealer Support Representative position is to represent all aspects and facets of the Company that are dealer driven through telephone, e-mail, and other electronic mediums.

    Primary Responsibilities :

    • Sales order entry and order quotation by phone.
    • General inquiry fulfillment and sales order tracking.
    • Problem / complaint investigation and resolution.
    • Product application and specification consultation.
    • Promote specific products for various geographical regions to gain market share.
    • Promote appropriate VELUX products with an emphasis on light and ventilation.
    • Working knowledge of residential skylights, Sun Tunnels, and domes.
    • Provide minor technical guidance to dealers via phone or digital channels.
    • Provide one call resolution to our dealer network.

    Secondary Responsibilities :

    • Assist with fellow department members’ training and development.
    • Serve as the communications link from our dealer network to all departments within the Company.
    • Various project / program coordination and administration

    Qualifications :

    • A minimum of an Associate’s degree is required.
    • Previous Call-Center Customer Service experience preferred.
    • Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office.
    • Must be a team player and effectively communicate with other team members
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Good time-management and task prioritization.
    • Product and industry knowledge would be beneficial.
    • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
    • Project a positive and professional image.
    • Overall excellent work and attendance record.
    • Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
    • Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards / announcements, terms / conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.
