Day Care Center Teacher jobs in Mississippi

First Presbyterian Day School Early Childhood is looking for an experienced and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience working with children, enjoys working in a busy daycare environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have experience in the daycare industry, a passion for teaching and caring for children, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the classroom.
• Assist with the development of children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
• Provide a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress.
• Participate in professional development activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
