The Cache County Sheriff's Office invites qualified candidates to apply for a Pre-Sentence Investigative Report Writer position in their probation division. This is a part-time position working up to 29 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pre-Sentence Investigative Report writer for the Cache County Probation Unit will mainly write and prepare reports for local courts to use in the sentencing of offenders. This position will also fill general office duties within the Probation Unit as well as provide supervision to pre-trial offenders. This supervision will mainly be done remotely (telephone, video, etc.) or in person, requiring interaction with offenders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: An Associate's Degree or completion of a similar Technical College program in grammar, writing, or related topics; OR equivalent experience.
