ob Title: Marketing Manager Department: Corporate/Marketing

Reports to: VP of Business Development Location: Millsboro, DE or Bladensburg, MD

Job Summary:

Marketing manager will work to market and grow the Ernest Maier brands through in-person and digital channels. This role will have a clear focus on Parker Block and the Delmarva peninsula/Eastern Shore.

Major Responsibilities

• Representing Ernest Maier at trade shows and industry events throughout the territory that Ernest Maier serves (AIA, ABC, ASCE, ASLA , etc)
• Developing and posting digital content including social media, and website
• Interacting with customers via social media
• Taking pictures/video of projects both completed and underway
• Assist in management and maintenance of website including e-store
• Plan and host demo days
• Interface with sales staff to market their work and customers
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Self-motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to internally coordinate with large number of sales staff scattered across the corporate locations.

Desired Skills/Abilities

• Ability to speak and write Spanish
• Familiarity with photo editing and video editing software
• Able to use camera with lenses (e.g. DSLR)
• Marketing experience

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to traverse uneven terrain at job sites
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
