Spathe Systems is seeking a Database Analyst/Programmer- Intermediate for United States Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM) customer.

Responsibilities

SPATHE is looking for a qualified person to support a multi-year contract with US Navy SOF in support of their Enterprise Knowledge Management team that under general supervision, designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases which includes maintenance of database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design.

Requirements:

• Competent to work on most phases of database administration but may require some instruction and guidance in other phases. Analyze requirements and design, code, test, debug, and document custom or framework-based front-end script and markup language.
• Thorough knowledge of physical database design and data structures.
• Able to recognize relationship between data elements.
• Has knowledge of database objects including tables, indexes, views, and statistics. Knowledge of ETL and BI tools.
• Proficient in SQL with ability to write complex SQL queries and other features.
• Experience with database management, troubleshooting, and developing new systems to improve data analysis.
• Develops solutions to technical specifications and business requirements.
• Provides developer documentation, end-user documentation to include how-to guides, training guides, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
• Produces database Code (SQL, stored procedures) Programming in XML, HTML, JAVA, Python, C , and PERL development languages.
• Creates data management dashboards, graphs, charts, and reports in Microsoft O365, Power Platform, Power BI, SQL, SQL Server, Visual Basic and Dynamics/CRM and the manipulation of Microsoft 0365 Office products to extract information from databases to include the import and exportation of data.
• Experienced in ETL (Extract, Transport, Load) functions and data cleansing.
• Designs data warehouses, data marts, and data mining and the creation of data dictionaries.
• Experience in the design of database systems.
• Experience in the analysis of the needs of an organization in order to produce an effective database system according to requirements and specifications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or Data Base Management Analysis or 5 yrs. of relevant experience.
• IAT Level II Required (Sec )
