Database Marketing Analyst performs analysis of marketing databases to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of various marketing programs. Develops strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation. Being a Database Marketing Analyst runs various reports to track retention, identify new customers, and pinpoint opportunities to increase sales to current customers. Ensures that the database is updated and maintained in a timely fashion. Additionally, Database Marketing Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.     WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

    As a Tech FinOps Analyst you'll be involved with:

    • Cost Management:
      • Pulling, tracking & analyzing technology expenses
      • Maintaining and monitoring budget vs actuals (tracking supplier change requests, spend), identify & explain variances, & look for opportunities/risks through the data
      • Enabling management of enterprise technology estate through reporting and budget management
    • Data Analysis:
      • Using SAP, SAAS platforms, native cloud management tools (AWS) & other sources to create and maintain reports & dashboards, identify trends
      • Working with a variety of analytic tooling sets like SQL, PowerBI, PowerApps, Excel o
      • Improving technology metrics and identifying optimization paths for common services including
      • Subscription authorization rates and retry analytics
      • Payment, interchange, and impact on auth/declines/passive fails to top and bottom line
      • Public cloud infrastructure (including all products within the space)
      • Resource utilization
    • Forecasting:
      • Providing support to enable & update financial forecasts for technology budgets, supporting monthly & quarterly deliverables


    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    The following is required to be considered for this role:

    • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional experience
    • At least one year of experience in financial analysis within a technology environment
    • Experience utilizing the following in Excel: VLOOKUP, index match, SUMIFs, nested if formulas, working with data validation arrays, union and join
    • Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial statements preparation
    • Experience utilizing SQL

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Power Apps & Power BI
    • Mastery of a variety of financial concepts, practices and procedures
    • Ability to navigate GL P&L BS and handle basic JE and intercompany cloud expense
    • Ability to manage internally developed software capitalization, depreciation, and deferred tables
    • Familiar with cloud computing and financial impacts, tagging strategy, and organizational units
    • Familiar with SAAS structures, resourcing, and capacity utilization o Familiar with working with vendors and performing contract analysis.
    • Strong understanding of technical software engineering/DevOps concepts
    • Strong understanding of agile software development lifecycle
    • Familiar with a variety of analytic tooling SQL, Dashboarding Tools, including Tableau and QuickSite
