Database Marketing Analyst performs analysis of marketing databases to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of various marketing programs. Develops strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation. Being a Database Marketing Analyst runs various reports to track retention, identify new customers, and pinpoint opportunities to increase sales to current customers. Ensures that the database is updated and maintained in a timely fashion. Additionally, Database Marketing Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Administers, maintains, and implements change control policies, standards, documentation, and procedures pertaining to the management, security, integrity, and utilization of relational databases and applications.
Reviews impact of user requests, in and across applications utilizing existing system development methodology. Assists user community in prioritizing and planning implementation of program changes and application upgrades.
Works on committees, work groups, and other projects as assigned; prepares monthly report and describes progress on key projects and vital programming statistics.
