    Role and Responsibilities
    The Marketing and Online Data Analyst will be an integrated part of the FBC Team supporting both the integrated activities related to marketing, sales and customer relations, as well as more broadly supporting Company Leaders. This person will gather and analyze key performance data to help make informed decisions (e.g., fleet operations, customer satisfaction, dock operations, etc.). The primary responsibilities of this role are to organize data related to sales numbers, customer database, customer behavior (both online and offline), market research, logistics or other behaviors. The role utilizes technical expertise to ensure data is accurate and high-quality. Data is then analyzed, designed, and presented in a way that assists individuals, businesses, and organizations make better decisions. This person needs a mix of technical, analytical, and soft skills to effectively analyze data and communicate their findings.
    • Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
    • Develop and maintain databases and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
    • Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
    • Explore customer and leads databases to identify actionable segments and support the planning and execution of new customer engagement activities (online, email, text, etc) based on the data
    • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets to support diagnosis and prediction
    • Assign numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time
    • Prepare reports for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
    • Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders to understand the data-analysis step
    • Remove errors, identify outliers, and transform data into a format that can be analyzed
    • Use statistical methods to test hypotheses, identify trends, and make predictions
    • For EDA projects, the analyst needs to scrutinize data to recognize and identify patterns followed by the use of data modeling techniques to summarize the overall features of data analysis

    Background and Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • At least 2 years of experience
    • Knowledge of how to clean and prepare data for analysis
    • Ability to analyze data and explore for insights
    • Understanding of statistical tests and tools
    • Knowledge of programming languages including Python and R
    • The ability to query databases and knowledge using SQL
    • Experience using tools like Tableau or Power BI
    • Advanced Excel and Word knowledge
    • Basic understanding of ML
    • The ability to approach problems logically and make informed decisions based on the data
    • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data analysis and recognizing errors
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to come up with solutions to business problems using data-driven approaches
    • Ability to collaborate with other departments or teams, understanding their needs, and providing them with relevant data insights
    • Recognizing the ethical implications of data usage, storage, and analysis, especially in terms of privacy and security
