The Energy Engineer will work with Plant Management, Project Engineers, Energy & Carbon Leads, Energy Section Controller and Energy Providers to develop forward looking opportunities to reduce energy consumption, reduce emissions of Green House Gasses (GHG), drive energy cost savings, and create a robust and sustainable energy strategy. This exciting position requires development of a strong rapport with mill management, technical and engineering resources, and state and local energy providers.
In general, the Energy Engineer is responsible for analyzing our existing infrastructure, power consumption and GHG / Carbon emissions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Success will be measured by Energy and cost savings, elevated GHG management, long term strategies that are sustainable and resilient.
