Data Warehousing Manager manages the daily activities of the team responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of data warehouse systems and projects. Oversees data design and the creation of database architecture and data repositories. Being a Data Warehousing Manager ensures that reporting, modeling, and ETL projects and initiatives are supported fully and run smoothly. Installs processes for auditing data warehouses and ensuring data quality. Additionally, Data Warehousing Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Warehousing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Data Warehousing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary and Qualifications


    As a Trauma Data Abstraction Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and operation of the Clinical Data Abstraction Shared Services and overall activities as it relates to the abstraction of data for trauma registry.


    What you will do in this role:


    • Provide direct managerial oversight and general direction to overall abstraction operations.
    • Actively review and manage data outcomes to identify opportunities for overall quality improvement.
    • Ensure complete, accurate, timely and consistent abstraction according to the standards of various regulatory and accreditation agencies (e.g. CMS, TJC, NHSN, ACS, etc.).
    • Work with various teams to communicate production-related issues such as workflow processes, forecasting, scheduling, quality activities, etc.
    • Responsible for review and improvement of CDRA processes and services.
    • Maintain knowledge of various abstracted registry(s).
    • Timely reporting of team and individual work accomplishments, problems and problem resolution, progress in mastering operational workflow processes, and individual and team training needs to Director.
    • Ensure all errors are resolved in the rejection of records from the data entry system.


    What qualifications you will need:


    • Associate degree required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
    • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Health Information Management; Coding, Nursing, and/or Health Registry abstraction experience
    • RHIT, RHIA, CCS, LVN or RN preferred
