Data Warehousing Director directs the team responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of data warehouse systems and projects. Has overall responsibility for the development of data warehouse strategy, architecture and standards that meet business needs. Being a Data Warehousing Director ensures that new data platforms can be successfully integrated with existing warehouses, and that data warehouse systems fully support organization-wide data initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Data Warehousing Director typically reports to senior management. The Data Warehousing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Warehousing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Your role at Baxter

    • The Director, Fulfillment Warehousing (Americas), leads all aspects of the strategic direction for warehousing activities across the US, Canada, and Mexico for the Kidney Care Business Segment.
    • The leader will be responsible for developing strategies to optimize warehousing footprint and achieve desired service levels through performance metrics, process standardization, innovation, and cost management.
    • Promote alignment by understanding Commercial and Integrated Supply Chain service needs, growth strategies, and warehousing capacity requirements.

    • Lead a complementary team of warehouse professionals, ensuring effective communication, training, and performance metrics evaluations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehousing footprint and activities with overall business goals and healthcare compliance standards.
    • Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to improve the efficiency of the Supply Chain.

    What you'll be doing

    • Coordinate and strategically plan the 3 internal and 45 external warehousing operations across the US, Mexico, and Canada.
    • Manage ~$100M in warehousing spend while maintaining a high level of budget, forecasting, and financial reporting accuracy.
    • Develop and implement efficient supply chain and logistics strategies to optimize warehouse processes and ensure seamless product flow.
    • Drive continuous improvement and margin improvement (MIP) initiatives applying data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate product recalls, and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure product availability.

    What you'll bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
    • 10 years of experience in supply chain management - warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, or planning is required.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain regulations and compliance requirements in the US, Mexico, and Canada.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

    We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $160,000 - $240,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
