Volt is immediately hiring for a Warehouse Technician in DeSoto, Texas.
As an Overhaul Warehousing Technician you will :
Provide part support to the overhaul of turbine engines and related equipment. Ensure material is properly stored and pulled from correct inventory location with special attention to overall inventory accuracy.
Move and package parts necessary to support overhaul production.
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have :
2 years warehousing experience
2 years forklift, pallet jack etc...experience
1 year of basic computer skill (RF Scan gun, SAP, Baan and Microsoft)
Have mathematical skills. Attention to detail part numbers and quantities. Ability to properly store material in a warehousing environment.
Familiarity with shop floor production environment and equipment. Repetitive lifting / moving of parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
Working in a team environment by attending and participating in team meetings, supporting established team business goals, adhering to team's ground rules and norms.
Basic computer skills familiarization. Good interpersonal skills. Can-do attitude. High school education or equivalent.
Hours are Monday - Friday (1st shift) : 5am - 1 : 30 pm; (2nd shift) : 1 pm-9 : 30 pm with lots of overtime available. Must be able to work some weekends if needed for overtime.
Positions are long term temp to hire.

Pay Rate : $17-20 / hr
