Provides technical support and coordination during warehouse design, testing and movement to production. Being a Data Warehouse Specialist acts as a liaison between engineers, data architects, programmers, and analysts. Implements and enforces standards and procedures to ensure data is managed consistently and properly integrated within the warehouse. Additionally, Data Warehouse Specialist manipulates and combines data from various sources to enlarge and enhance the data warehouse. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Data Warehouse Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The role is a two-prong position which includes working as:
Ariba Purchase to Pay (P2P) Specialist Work with the Ariba team to maintain & grow the Ariba P2P system. This includes: § Adding & maintaining Users & user approval groups. § Adding & maintaining Vendors. This includes: o Creating & maintaining Punchout Catalogs o Creating & maintaining CIF catalogs o Creating & maintaining Blanket Purchase orders § Helping users with Ariba questions & problems. § Helping to ensure transactions are flowing through the Ariba system. This includes: o Ensuring that Purchase Requisitions are being approved. o Helping users resolve Invoice Reconciliations. This includes: · PO Received Quantity Variances · PO Quantity Variances · PO Price Variances · PO Amount Variances · Tax Variances
Procurement Data Specialist Work with the Procurement department to collect data from its various systems. This includes:
§ Collecting data from the companies SAP ERP system. § Running analytics, creating Excel Spreadsheets & PowerPoint presentations to show data in an understandable format. § Working on ad hoc projects. § Helping to maintain our Spend Analytics tool.
