PDX Reading Specialist is a locally owned company in West Linn, Oregon. Since 2010, our services and products have helped educators across the US and Canada connect the Science of Reading to the Science of Instruction.

Our employees are a big part of our success, and as a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of our future growth and expansion. This position has the potential to expand into a supervisor role, and we're looking for a goal-oriented team member willing to take on future responsibilities.

Job Duties:

• Process inbound/outbound shipments
• Pick, pack, and ship orders
• Unload containers and other shipments
• Transport shipments and other materials in our company cargo van
• Reconcile discrepancies in inventory records
• Schedule shipments and negotiate to obtain the best rates available
• Maintain appropriate service levels to internal and external customers
• Maintain consistent product workflow and put away products after repacking
• Meet productivity requirements while operating safely and efficiently
• Help with event preparations, including planning, loading, and unloading on and off-site
• Work cooperatively with other team members
• Clean and put away supplies after each shift
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in cold/warm environments
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the shift
• Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English to receive directions and process paperwork)
• Basic computer skills (email, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc)
• Attention to detail and ability to differentiate quality levels of various products
• Able to work efficiently with or without direct supervision
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Ability to multitask and attention to detail
• Must be team-oriented
• Must be looking to grow with the company
• Looking for a dedicated, trustworthy individual with a high level of integrity and responsibility

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's license
• Previous Warehouse/Packing experience a plus
• Must have reliable transportation to our warehouse in Wilsonville and/or office in West Linn (as needed)
