Data Security Manager manages and guides the maintenance of systems to protect data from unauthorized users. The Area Manager for River City Security and Investigations will manage and coordinate the activities of all security staff at their assigned post. They will execute all tasks related to maintaining standards in compliance with the standard operating procedures.
Duties will include:
- Supervise and manage a team of employees in multiple locations
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
- Assist with the hiring of personnel
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Training new employees on their duties at each site and explaining company policies and procedures
- Managing paperwork as it relates to off-days, PTO, medical visits, vacation, court etc.
- Managing a schedule and filling open shifts whenever required
- Visiting 4-5 sites on each working day when not filling open shifts
Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess an up-to-date Armed License through the Louisiana State Board Of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE)
- Provide proof of at least two years of supervisory experience
- Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred
- Must be flexible and be able to work nights/ weekends
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must possess a valid state-issued drivers license and a clean motor vehicle driver report
- Must pass a background/ drug screening at point of hiring
