Position Summary:
Seeking a dynamic leader with proven experience as a data science/analytics/operations research technical expert, team leader of analysts delivering on complex projects, proficient in project management and team growth, and demonstrated results in business development.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has direct supervisory responsibilities including:
• Performs overall contract financial oversight to include labor utilization, estimates at completion, revenue, and maintains profit and loss responsibility.
• Liaison between onsite client delivery teams and corporate departments including HR, Finance, Contracts, Talent Acquisition, and others.
• Oversees a diverse and fluid portfolio of projects and staff.
• Tracks team member hours vs programmed hours in timekeeping system, Unanet.
• Monitors planned vs actual hours for responsible projects; identifies and corrects deviations from planned hours.
• Monitors team travel plans and reviews and approves travel claims ensuring compliance with company and client regulations.
• Completes team member performance evaluations and provides leadership for junior colleagues.
• Provides first line quality review for deliverables.
• Alerts HR to emerging HR and recruitment-related issues.
• Plan task kickoffs, both internal and with prime.
• Assist other related tasks with kickoff planning and transitions.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Education and Experience:
· 10 years data science/ operations research experience. 10 years of leadership experience in government contracting industry.
· Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field required; Master’s degree desired.
· Experience building data visualization using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Qlik.
