Data Science Director jobs in North Carolina
Data Science Director establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals of the data science function. Provides strategic guidance and overall direction for analytical efforts. Being a Data Science Director determines the appropriate tools, techniques, staffing and methodologies to extract data that produces meaningful results. Uses extensive knowledge and research into big data tools to guide the integration of new and existing tools into the organization's data science tech stack. Additionally, Data Science Director typically requires a master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Data Science Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Science Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Title: Ink Production Technician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Status: Temp to Perm – Initial 6 months
Responsibilities
Production and packaging of ink batches ranging from 25-120 gallons.
Performs repetitive blending operations for CIJ inks.
Lab scale-up and production of inks including packaging.
Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
Responsible for maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure that they are safe and in good working order.
Maintain warehouse, ink room, and supply room in a good working order.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a minimum of HS diploma or at least two years of industrial work experience and strong mathematical skills.
Must have a strong mechanical and/or mathematical aptitude.
Safety awareness in the laboratory and manufacturing environment.
Must have solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds safely.
Good organizational skills a good sense of urgency.

Salary: $19.10 - $23.00 per hour
