We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our market research (MR) team. In this role, the Sr. Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting our ongoing day-to-day operations and helping shape future process enhancements. This is a unique position to become a subject matter expert on the data and metrics influencing a highly successful business, while also exploring new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a true team player with advanced SQL and database skills, who enjoys extracting data, understanding various business requirements, and working closely with data.
The Senior Data Analyst will:
Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to identify key business questions and lead the analysis process to provide actionable insights
Perform a variety of data mining and data analysis tasks including ad hoc reporting, root cause analysis, cohort analysis, hypothesis testing, statistical modeling, and forecasting
Become a subject matter expert for our existing data sources and actively contribute to the development of new data sources and systems
Work closely with team members to provide data and analytics support and train select stakeholders on available reporting services
Summarize findings, present recommendations, and effectively communicate results to stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of the insights gained
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance data quality, efficiency, and automation
About You:
5 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or similar role
Expert proficiency in SQL. Proficiency in Python, R, or other data analysis programming languages is a plus
Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Strong statistical modeling and predictive analytics skills
Expertise in analyzing data across multiple sources and developing compelling insights
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while remaining detail-oriented
Experience working with Sales, Customer Success, Legal and Finance departments is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you are a clear and articulate communicator
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
Familiarity with dashboard modeling and creation tools
Experience in data science / machine learning is a plus
We are actively seeking qualified candidates local to Minneapolis or Los Angeles for this hybrid position, combining remote work with in-person collaboration.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $140,000.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, commission, equity, or benefits.
