Data Modeling Analyst, Sr. develops data models to meet the needs of the organization's information systems. Manages the flow of information between departments through the use of relational databases. Being a Data Modeling Analyst, Sr. maintains data integrity by working to eliminate redundancy. Prepares statistical and analytical reports on faculty, staff, and students; conducts research to assist with enrollment management, strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making; and coordinates the collection of data for multiple external surveys and reports.
This position is eligible for overtime.
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, social sciences, educational research or related field required. Spring 2024 graduates will be considered. Degree must be conferred prior to start date.
At least two years of experience/training related to data extraction and analysis; and strong written and verbal communication skills required. Student experience will be considered.
In depth knowledge of university administrative organization, policies, procedures, and practices for institutional research-oriented roles; ability to perform data retrieval and manipulation; and experience in statistical tools such as SAS, SPSS, SQL, R, D3, Python, or similar preferred.
