National Salvage & Service Corporation provides safe, efficient, and environmentally sound products and services to help industries remove, recover, and restore resources. National has removed, recovered, and restored resources at sites ranging from the complete demolition of power plant buildings and equipment to taking up thousands of miles of vacated railroad tracks.

National is currently looking for a Data Analyst to come join the crew. Our next Data Analyst will be managing and overseeing large amounts of Company Data. Helping to provide the business with high-quality data that is easily accessible in a consistent manner. 

Job Classification:

• Daytime Hours
• Monday – Friday
• Full Time (Hourly)
• Regular Position (40 hours)

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Involves collecting, validating, and analyzing data from both open and closed sources.
• Manages and improves continuous monitoring (CM).
• Strong ability to work with SQL databases and Excel.
• Data Quality understanding of DQ concepts and familiarity with DQ tools and methods.
• Runs data analytics that ensures research integrity.
• Conduct self-directed research and Analyze data to identify and compare norms, trends and patterns.
• Data mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation validation and reconciliation)
• Ability to proactively seek clarification of requirements and direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to communicate complex technical issues to all stakeholders, including those who do not have a technical background.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in analytic or computer science related field).
• Strong skill in SQL and Excel.
• Proven Ability to work with a variety of systems, sources of data and analytic tools.
• Ability to report work activity on a timely basis.
• Ability to handle confidential material.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
