  • Purpose of Position: The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Client's strategic initiatives by designing programs, reports, visualizations, and managing data through knowledge of and use of the core system, MCIF and enterprise-wide data platform. This position will also support the marketing strategy with targeting for and tracking of all marketing activities.

    1. Develop and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to provide real-time data to business lines across the client. Present the reports and analysis to management when requested.
    2. Serve as the data expert providing analytical solutions for employees across the organization.
    3. Perform ad-hoc strategic analysis with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to create solutions for product development and strategic initiatives.
    4. Have strong knowledge of all products and services, as well as an understanding of the overall operation.
    5. Manage databases, including the MCIF and organization-wide software platform. Have a strong understanding of the core processing system.
    6. Actively seek opportunities to innovate using analytics methodologies.
    7. Identify competitive advantages and develop tactics to maximize those advantages.
    8. Conduct research of existing and potential new markets and report findings that show competitive advantages.
    9. Propose new marketing strategies by identifying opportunities within the database.
    10. Measure and report performance of overall performance and marketing campaigns.
    11. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate support of our data software platforms.
    12. Manage data quality by identifying errors in data records and manage processes to improve the data.
    • Document all processes used for regular maintenance and operation of databases.
    • Actively participate as a part of the Marketing team.
    • Be a brand steward, upholding brand standards and consistency in all projects.
    • Always present a professional positive image of the members and potential members.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
    Language: Read documents, policies and procedures. Read safety rules and instructions. Write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech. Speak before an audience with poise, voice control, and confidence, using correct English and a well-modulated voice.

    Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Data Analytics or Marketing Research. Master’s Degree in Marketing Research or Business Analytics preferred.

    Experience: Three years of database management and research experience required. Marketing research and data management experience in a financial institution preferred. Requires proficient, frequent, and ongoing use of database software platforms. Strong fundamental knowledge of financial institution operation and marketing is required.
