Being a Data Modeling Analyst maintains data integrity by working to eliminate redundancy. Stays informed of the ways the organization uses its data. Additionally, Data Modeling Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Modeling Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Your passion for creating actionable and meaningful dashboards and your ability to tell stories will be key to your success.  This role requires a mix of technical, analytical, and creative skills.  Our Information Security team comprises a talented mix of business and technical experts who will provide the support and the space you need to grow.

    Responsibilities

    As our Data Analyst, you will:

    • Implement and maintain a modern analytics program that creates meaningful metrics and monitoring.
    • Build metrics that will be used to demonstrate program efficacy and provide indicators of adherence to financial industry requirements.
    • Build and maintain self-service dashboards using data visualization tools.
    • Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for Business intelligence.
    • Evaluate data quality processes and resolve data quality issues.
    • Provide program support through an analytical lens.
    • Identify and apply solutions and critical thinking to many complex problems.
    • Support the Information Security program through data mapping and analysis.
    • Maintain documentation of data sources and report generation processes.
    • Assist with ad-hoc queries to gather data from various database systems.
    • Occasionally support incident response as needed.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • A 4-year degree, or equivalent experience.
    • 1-2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field.
    • Working knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and methodologies.
    • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are expected.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (SQL, Excel)
    • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power Bi)
