Data Center Director jobs in Sunland Park, NM
Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Director coordinates with outside teams to identify and implement new systems to support existing and future business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Data Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a MaintenancePerson, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning andmaintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role thatrequires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot andrepair various systems.
Duties:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning,lubricating, and adjusting equipment- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems- Fabricate and weld components as needed- Supervise contractors during maintenance and repair projects- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a ComputerizedMaintenance Management System (CMMS)- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems
Requirements:- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills- Experience with electrical systems, including logic controllers- Ability to supervise contractors and effectively communicate maintenanceneeds- Proficient in using CMMS software to track maintenance activities- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, andschematics- Ability to fabricate and weld components as needed- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Customer service-oriented mindset
