Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Director coordinates with outside teams to identify and implement new systems to support existing and future business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Data Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job Summary and Qualifications

    What you will do in this role:

    • You will manage and supervise all areas of nursing care
    • Establish and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with your Administrator
    • You will ensure that the day-to-day operations are conducted in accordance with clinical practice standards and policies of the center
    • Ensure sufficient staffing daily by notifying your team of scheduling changes in a timely manner
    • You will participate in the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care provided
    • Accessible to your staff by providing breaks, ensuring coverage for meal breaks, late cases and staffing shortages
    • Monitor your clinical area to ensure materials are provided for each case in advance
    • You will facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
    • You will delegate, coach, mentor and handle conflict resolution with your team
    • Ability to build trust and gain the respect of your team through effective leadership and participation skills

    What qualifications you will need:

      • Minimum (3) years direct RN experience; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center surgical setting
      • Minimum (1) year clinical supervisory experience
      • Active RN license as required by state of employment
      • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment. ***online certification not acceptable
      • ACLS and PALS as required by facility ***required at this facility
      • CNOR preferred
