Data Center Director jobs in Joplin, MO
Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Director coordinates with outside teams to identify and implement new systems to support existing and future business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Data Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The Director of Data Technologies will lead the team that manages the platforms and data related to sales, ERP and business management. Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of database queries, web tools, CRM Systems, demographic profiling systems and data management tools with strong background in Microsoft products.
- Experience with analytics platforms. Qlik Sense and Qlik nPrinting experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, direct and evaluate the organization’s technology status and performance.
- Provide leadership, vision, and management to the IT departments while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
- Prepare statistically accurate reports while illustrating data with graphs and translating complex results into written texts that are clear, understandable, and actionable.
- Track and forecast current and future trends in sales and markets and analyze in detail the data collected to provide management with thorough reports and results.
- Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand.
- Present verbal or written research findings & demonstrate analysis for internal constituents.
