Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. The purpose of the Data Center Manager (DCM) position is to assist with the day‐to‐day functions of the property management department and the functions of the General Manager to which he/she is assigned. The focus of this position is to support the General Manager in all aspects of management pertaining to the Hawaii property.
The DCM is the liaison between the tenants/customers and the General Manager for Meet Me Room (MMR), Base building maintenance and, tenant-related issues at the property. This position will assist the General Manager with respect to onsite operations for Meet Me Room and base building/office operations. The DCM will assist in optimizing base building and operations services by helping to optimize MMR operations and procedures. Reports to General Manager.
