Role Purpose: The Enterprise Data Architect leads the design and development of new data architectures that source, curate, and serve data for analytic solutions from the Enterprise Data Hub (EDH). This Enterprise Data Architect reports directly to the BIDS Director of Data Architecture & Engineering. They are key decision makers in identifying and adopting industry best practices to design, develop, test, deploy, and support of complex data integration solutions. This is a hands-on technologist role that includes data modeling, development of ETL standards and mentoring to the developer team, working in an Agile development environment. Responsibilities:
    • Identify and adopt industry best practices and techniques to build preferment and scalable data sourcing solutions and architectures; The data resulting from these solutions is consumed by both internal and external users and solutions, with data sourced from across the company's business and clinical functions
    • Serve as a technical lead to the ETL Development team and Agile teams to define new data architectures and development standards/processes, including any number of data latency use cases - batch, real time, near real time, etc.

    • 5 years of overall experience
    • 2-3 years at least doing Azure; The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with ETL and Azure Factory
    • Azure experience to further build what our client has in house
    • Azure - Azure Synapse, Manage SQL instance (server)
    • Azure data factory
    • Warescape
    • Agile, does sprints
    • Data warehouse automation experience- 5Tran, StreamSets, Warescape, Outsystems


    The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

    We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
