Job Summary :
The General Mess Attendant Trainee position is responsible for transporting all items for the serving line and beverage dispensers from the preparation and storage area.
Providing food and garnish to assist the cooks and providing dining hall / back of the house cleaning as required. To see that the Dining Hall is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times including, at the individual tables / booths, refilling / replacing the napkin dispensers, S&P shakers and condiments.
Spot clean and / or vacuum the floor as to present the Dining Hall as a clean and welcoming environment. Maintain the Rest Rooms to a clean and sanitary standard including re-stocking soap and paper dispensers.
Maintain the stock room in a clean environment under the supervision of the Project or Operations Manager(s).
The General Mess Attendant Trainee will also fully engage in required training, meetings with their case manager, work supervisor and Project Manager to discuss their work skills and areas that need to be improved upon.
