We are looking for a Packaging Operator to join our MGP team in Atchison, KS. As a Packaging Operator, you are responsible for operating packaging equipment and assisting in the process for incoming and outgoing materials.

What will you do?

• Operate equipment such as bag / box filler, bag sealer, box taper, pallet stretch wrapper, and others.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Document incoming and outgoing materials.

What do you need to bring to the table?

• Ability to operate multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Required to maintain manual and automated records and must be able to communicate over a radio.
• Mathematical skills required.
• Monitor and maintain equipment.

The training rate for this position is $19.28 / hr. After fully trained the rate is $25.79 / hr. This anticipated salary range is not, however, a promise of any specific salary for any specific employee, which is always dependent on factors such as actual candidate background, experience, education, skills, and work location.
