Dairy Processing Equipment Operator sets-up and operates continuous flow equipment to process milk, cream, and other dairy products. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Dairy Processing Equipment Operator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Dairy Processing Equipment Operator works under immediate supervision. - General farm maintenance (, mowing/weedeating, equipment maintenance, pressure washing, parts delivery, welding, metal fabrication etc.)
- Hauling grain with semi during fall/winter months
- During harvest season (hauling grain, running grain cart, equipment repairs, working ground)
- During planting season (working ground, delivering seed, equipment repairs, delivering chemicals etc.)
- Opportunities to participate in the construction side of the operation including the operation of skid loaders, excavators, and grinders for the right candidate.
- Longer hours during Spring/Harvest and more flexible during farm off-season
Company Vehicle/Housing Available to the right candidate.
Looking for someone who takes pride in the work that they do and enjoys a lot of variety in their day-to-day tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
