Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Dairy Processing Equipment Operator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Dairy Processing Equipment Operator works under immediate supervision. The purpose of the production operator position is to use company equipment to efficiently process metal powder and briquettes in various forms in accordance with applicable work instructions yielding a product that complies with customer specifications.
Safely operate material handling equipment to transport and position material for processing. Interpret work orders and work instructions to set-up and operate equipment. Monitor process controls and adjust operating parameters to ensure a conforming product. Complete documentation legibly that serves as objective evidence that work has been performed in accordance with company and customer requirements. This can include various reports, logs and tags. Perform transactions and data entry at computer workstations. Perform housekeeping / safety tasks.
