DME Technician jobs in Florida

Respitec Medical Care & Equipment is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team. If you enjoy working with people in a fast paced environment, like variance in your daily routine and enjoy being out on the road this may be the role for you.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Receives daily route and ensures the truck is fully stocked
• Delivers equipment to patient homes, sets up equipment, instructs patient and/or caregivers in proper use and maintenance of equipment and completes all paperwork in a timely manner
• Completes all stops on daily route including set ups, pickups and exchanges
• Follows all Joint Commission, FDA, DOT etc. regulations at all times
• Completes a daily log of all stops and vehicle inspections
• Responds to emergency calls and new patient orders during regular business hours and on-call rotation hours

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Current state issued driver's license with a clean driving history is required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background check is required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• The ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate unplanned events and participate in an on-call rotation is required
• Previous DME experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
