Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grind Hand to join our team. As a Grind Hand, you will be responsible for performing precision grinding and finishing operations on metal parts. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various tools and equipment.Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate grinding machines to grind metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of dimensions
- Inspect finished parts for quality and make adjustments as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work areaQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in grinding or related field preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of grinding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with CNC machines and electrical discharge machining is a plus
- Forklift certification is a plusSkills:

- Sheet metal assembly
