The opportunity

The role

• Key & transmit import entries to Customs to obtain release prior to arrival to the port.
• Prepare daily FTZ data for processing, pull documents, assign manufacturer ID’s, complete audits processing.
• Print & Analyze import documents for accuracy.
• Transmit AES data to Customs.
• File documents for import QP/WP movements
• Key & transmit export bonded movements to Customs.
• Notify internal and external contacts of release, provide delivery orders as required.
• Arrange payment for pier pass and exam changes with broker.
• Archive documents for required Customs record keeping.

The requirement

§ High School/Community/Trade Diploma

§ 1 – 2 years of import/export experience

§ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

§ Ability to work in a team-based environment.

§ Ability to demonstrate flexibility to changing work priorities.

§ Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills

§ Confidentiality of data

§ Hearing is required to hear instructions, receive information from various sources, and understand safety warnings.

§ Vision is required to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate metrics.
