Customer Service Training Manager designs and delivers training programs for customer service representatives, team leaders, and supervisors. Prepares instructive updates and details on new products, features, and service offerings. Being a Customer Service Training Manager designs a training curriculum and role-playing exercises to develop selling, service delivery, issue resolution, and interpersonal communication skills. Creates and maintains documentation and resources used to instruct staff on service level standards, system tools, and policies and procedures. Additionally, Customer Service Training Manager assesses training effectiveness and defines future needs by reviewing and analyzing staff performance metrics. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Service Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Service Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our La Porte, Indiana location.

    The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

    • maintaining customer accounts on a daily basis, from initial setup of items to following orders through production and shipping
    • provide excellent customer service through timely and accurate communication
    • developing estimates for quoting / pricing
    • interact with the Design department on tooling, cutting dies and print plates
    • manage inventory levels
    • acting as a central point of contact by developing and maintaining a respectful working relationship with customer and internal departments
    • manage multiple accounts with varying degrees of complexity
    • resolving customer complaints and initiate product returns and replacements

    The ideal candidate will present the following qualifications

    At least two years' customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Corrugated packaging industry experience (including boxes, displays, graphics, and labeling) would be ideal.

    Knowledge of various packaging mediums, board grades, inks and equipment capabilities a plus.

    • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other industry software
    • Efficient and professional behavior in pressurized situations with the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously
    • Highly organized, detail oriented, with effective time management skills
