Baystate Health’s Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, checking them in and checking them out and requesting copays. They are also responsible for verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.

Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service.
Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
