Customer Service Team Leader leads a customer service team that responds to phone, e-mail, or chat non-technical service requests from customers. Responds to and resolves escalated issues and/or unique or complex requests from customers. Being a Customer Service Team Leader monitors the daily workloads of team members and makes adjustments to ensure adequate coverage and that correct procedures are followed. Identifies system and workflow improvements to enhance the team's efficiency. Additionally, Customer Service Team Leader trains and provides support to less experienced team members. May assist manager or supervisor with scheduling. May be authorized to approve special adjustments or exceptions for a customer. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. As the Customer Service Specialist you will be answering and triaging calls, handling customers complaints, assist with scheduling or dispatching a team to the customers location to assess the work that would need to be completed.     • Handle customer complaints, resolve issues and trouble shoot
    • Receive customer calls and triage to the appropriate department
    • Answering questions about the company's products, services and or information about company's offerings
    • Help assist with processing orders and transactions
    • Provide proactive customer outreach
    • Respond to customer reviews, collect and help analyze customer feedback
    • Dispatch and schedule restoration teams to incoming leads and projects in coordination with management team
    • Review and maintain the scheduling software so that appropriate teams are routed accordingly
    • Perform detailed and accurate data entry
    • Receive incoming calls about past services, follow ups on current projects, general inquiries about business and other routine communications

    Position Requirements

    • High school diploma/GED (preferred)
    • At least 2 years of customer service and/or office-related experience
    • Resolving issues and troubleshooting problem skills
    • Prior dispatch or call center experience preferred
    • Ability to multitask and to remain detail orientated
    • Strong phone skills utilizing most updated operating systems
    • Must be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications

    Skills/Physical Demands/CompetenciesThis is a sedentary role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Each SERVPRO® Franchise is Independently Owned and Operated.
