Customer Service Team Leader leads a customer service team that responds to phone, e-mail, or chat non-technical service requests from customers. Responds to and resolves escalated issues and/or unique or complex requests from customers. Being a Customer Service Team Leader monitors the daily workloads of team members and makes adjustments to ensure adequate coverage and that correct procedures are followed. Identifies system and workflow improvements to enhance the team's efficiency. Additionally, Customer Service Team Leader trains and provides support to less experienced team members. May assist manager or supervisor with scheduling. May be authorized to approve special adjustments or exceptions for a customer. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     Starting at $90,000 annually

    Position Details

    The team leader oversees, manages, and guides the program of the Forensic or Assertive Community Treatment Team. These teams are self-contained clinical units tasked with providing necessary treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients with severe and persistent mental health illnesses. The leader supervises and assesses the multidisciplinary team, working closely with psychiatric support to ensure top-notch service delivery and maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for program clients. Additionally, the team leader serves as a practicing clinician within the team.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    • The ideal candidate for this role should hold a valid license as a mental health professional accredited by the state regulatory/licensing board (e.g., LCSW, LPCC), or be a Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
    • They must possess robust clinical expertise and a background in treating individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
    • Prior experience in supervisory and program management roles is desirable.
    • The candidate should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Experience working with a co-occurring population is advantageous.
    • Bilingual proficiency is considered a valuable asset.
