Customer Service Manager manages a team or unit of customer service representatives and ensures service levels are met or exceeded. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Service Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     CVP is a seeking an IT Asset Manager who will support the client in the development and maintenance of policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organization to best manage the IT Asset Portfolio with respect to risk, cost, control, IT Governance, compliance and business performance objectives established by the government.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports the total asset visibility (TAV), logistics, maintenance, and warranty of assets.
    • Supports implementation and management of a total asset visibility solution/tool to improve asset visibility and asset data management.
    • Ensures assets are identified, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
    • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of asset data and processes to maintain the data.
    • Ensures asset records are maintained through the entire asset lifecycle.
    • Documents processes, procedures, and controls to enable an effective asset management practice.
    • Performs regular network discovery of all network connected assets.
    • Maintains currency of approved hardware and software, leveraging business process and advanced technology capabilities for inventory management.
    • Ensures accuracy of the configuration management database (CMDB) and compliance with asset management processes.
    • Supports audits to provide health checks against existing data to ensure the CMDB and automated discovery databases/workflows are consistent with the physical state of all assets and configuration items in the IT environment and vice versa.
    • Supports the hardware refresh program.
    • Prepares asset management inventory, software license, hardware, business activity, forecasts, and other ad hoc reports (e.g., equipment value reports) to include reports on government and contractor owned property.
    • Implements and maintains relationships between assets and configuration items.
    • Collaborates with organizations across the program to support efficient and effective ITSM delivery.
    • Presents continual service improvement ideas and recommendations for action.
     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree and 5 to 7 years’ experience or Masters degree with 3-5 years’ experience or a high school diploma/equivalent with minimum 9 years’ experience
    • ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4 Foundations certification
    • Demonstrated experience with IT asset management of 10,000 end user devices such as desktops, printers, and software
    • Demonstrated experience with asset management databases (e.g., asset register, CMDB) and other ITSM tools, solutions, software.
    • Demonstrated experience with aligning asset management and configuration management data and processes.
